Monitoring Solutions with Alarms and Notifications

Alarms and alerts monitoring is a specialized and personalized technical solution that allows our customers to focus fully on their core business activities and receive real-time information on critical events that require urgent response. The necessary event detection information in the physical layer of the network model is transformed into a data stream and real-time alert alerts are generated. The monitoring does not duplicate video surveillance systems or specialized fire and security systems. It controls the available resources and normal conditions for their operation - network power, Internet connectivity, temperature, humidity. Alarms are generated in events associated with atypical values of physical quantities, and alerts are via an independent communication channel. For client-server applications or for network devices, the data flow generated by the Syslog process is exported for processing to our server. The server provides detection and processing of events in the data stream as well as generating alarms and alerts. Depending on the density of the data stream, processing can be on a shared or dedicated server.  We can develop console interface (CLI) scripts to remotely execute scheduled urgent actions across a wide range of network devices and operating systems (Junos, IOS, RouterOS, UNIX / Linux ...), or publish metadata as part of a “publish-subscribe” for event service purposes. We process published metadata that is available on the Internet under different protocols, with event detection, alarms, and notifications.

 For Whom are Solutions Intended

Monitoring solutions are specialized solutions for professionals who monitor critical parameters with limited network accessibility and atypical data format across all layers of the network model. Events related to critical parameter exit from acceptable range are, for example, power outages and temperature rise at a remote point with equipment, loss of network connectivity to a camera object and alarm system, loss of connection to the smart home, unusual for hours of the day server overloads or network interfaces. The response time required to service such events is small and imposes the transport of critical data via an additional communication channel, aggregation, processing, alarm generation and alerts as well as the initiation of certain emergency procedures.

If you can continuously provide and process data from a command line, from a metadata page, from public and private network sensors, transport them on your own independent channel, store them in a structured format, and post for monitoring by a server operator with a public address and making notifications in the form of e-mail or SMS, then our services are not for you.

If you can also develop emergency procedures to run automated procedures on Juniper (Junos), Cisco (IOS), Mikrotik (RouterOS) network servers, servers, routers and switches, and other Internet access equipment, you can understand for whom are our services in this class.

And for all those who have read this to end, because sometimes they want to check what is happening in a remote home, in a villa, in a greenhouse or in a mushroom .... wherever there is a mobile Internet.

Setting up Network Devices

Setting up Switches

Cisco switch settings

  • Base Switch Configuration

Includes, if technically possible, configuration of local and remote access, authentication (username), authorization (password), access accountability (logging), IP address management, fixed IP access list for configuration, time setting (NTP or SNTP client for public NTP servers), monitoring setup (SNMP, Syslog), setting of interfaces in access mode, setting administrative interface on available protocols.

  • VLAN Switch Configuration

Requires basic setup and client-compliant interface type and VLAN allocation.

  • Merging Physical Ports into Logical (Aggregation with LACP, PAGP)

Requires basic setup and VLAN configuration.

  • Layer-3 Switch IP Address Setting

Requires basic setup and VLAN configuration. Router Setup Configuration of Budget Soho Router for Internet Access Includes configuration for IP and external network IP addresses and address translation to an internal network with private addresses.

 Setting up Routers

Mikrotik OpenVPN client

  •  Configuration of Budget Soho Router  for Internet Access

Includes configuration for IP and external network IP addresses and address translation to an internal network with private addresses.

  •   Basic Router Configuration

Includes, if technically available, local and remote access configuration, authentication (username), authorization (password), access protocols, IP address management, fixed  IP access list configuration limit, time setting ( NTP or SNTP client for public NTP servers), monitoring setup (SNMP, Syslog), setting of interfaces, setting administrative interface for available protocols.

  •   Set up a Router for Internet Access

Requires basic setup and client-specific interface type and protocol for WAN port (DHCP, PPPoE, static addresses -  address, mask, default gateway, provider DNS), IP addresses on the internal network. When migrating or replacing equipment with a new one, the customer must provide data on the network providing migration with minimal changes and interruptions and provide a connection if necessary with the provider of the Internet services. Includes configuration of IP and external network IP addresses and address translation to an internal network with private addresses.
